Today's NY Times Dining section features candy makers offering Halloween treats made with grownup tastes in mind.  Sample chocolatier L.A. Burdick's white ghosts filled with gianduja ganache or order their coffin shaped black box filled with an assortment of chocolate bonbons.  Also recommended,  The Coffee Toffee Company's Pumpkin Spice toffee, perfectly packaged in a Chinese takeout style container.  And while we're on the subject of toffee, my must have holiday (or anytime) treat, is toffee from Toffee to Go.  Toffee to Go offers 3 varieties - White Chocolate Macadamia, Milk Chocolate Almond, and Dark Chocolate Pecan - if you can't decide on your favorite, be sure to order their sample box of all three!
