Indre Rockefeller

In addition to my continuing Q&A Spotlight Series, launching today is a feature focus fittingly titled One to Watch....  It will highlight individuals of a younger set, who have made an impression with any number of accomplishments -- personal style, work ethic, and/or groundbreaking business.

Today, I turn to Indre Rockefeller. A graduate of Princeton, with a business degree from Stanford, this 33 year old has just left (about a month ago) her previous post at Moda Operandi. Indre was one of the original employees at this boutique online retailer, and served as General Merchandise Manager and Creative Director of trunk shows. She has now accepted the position of U.S. President for the Spanish fashion brand Delpozo.

*I've included the images of Indre's NYC apartment that she shares with husband Justin, published in Elle Decor. Indre credits Jessica Stambaugh & Danielle Mastrangelo of Decorative Traces with helping to round out the home's interior design.

New Releases from Rizzoli

Monday, April 7, 2014

Following my review of Allan Greenberg: Classical Architect, the kind folks at Rizzoli (the book's publisher) have continued to keep me in the loop of design driven new releases. Two such titles are now on my bookshelf and used as go-to reference guides....  BARN: Preservation and Adaptation, The Evolution of a Vernacular Icon (lower left) and How to Read Houses: A Crash Course in Domestic Architecture (lower right).
