Our House Gets a Fresh Coat of Paint

We are going on 5 years as the owners of a cute little bungalow in the Druid Hills neighborhood.  The sun's wear and tear was starting to show on our original wood siding and a new paint job was desperately in order.  Making the decision to paint the house was the easy part, choosing a paint color can be a little more daunting.  I am all over the map when it comes to color....  I love the idea of an all white palate, but then also love the energy that punches of color can bring.  After flipping through pages of my favorite shelter magazines and holding paint chips up to the outside of our house, we decided to take inspiration from the most recent Country Living Magazine's show house - Home Green Home - just erected in the heart of NYC's South Street Seaport neighborhood.  Check out the before and after photos below.
