Hey Atlanta friends, be sure to make time to stop by the Chomp & Stomp Festival on Saturday, November 6th, 11:00am - 6:00pm. The Cabbagetown neighborhood, known for its historic shot gun style homes & side by side bungalows, plays host to this ultimate Chili Cook Off with local restaurants and home cooks entering their tried and true recipes - vegetarian options included. The streets are shut down to cars and lined with tents for participants to dish out their creations. There is a 5K race in the morning and live Blue Grass music is played all afternoon. A $5 entrance fee gets you your spoon, your utensil for sampling as you make your way from one bowl to the next. Be sure to get there early, this event tends to draw large crowds and the chili goes fast!
