Susan Hable, along with her sister, Katharine Hable Sweeney, are the owners of
Hable Construction, a custom textile business. Originally from the Lone Star State, Susan & Katharine established their company in NYC over 10 years ago. The sisters split business duties, with Susan handcrafting the patterns and designs to be printed on fabric and accessories. About a year ago, Susan bid farewell to the hustle and bustle of New York, and relocated back down South to Athens, GA - an idyllic college town known for its warm hospitality mixed with creative & inventive spirit. She has set up her art studio in a carriage house space behind the Victorian home she shares with her husband & 2 children and is featured in the Apr/May '11 issue of Garden & Gun Magazine.
