Sara Story

Born in Japan, followed by an upbringing in Singapore and then stateside to Texas & California, Sara Story's extensive travel can't help but play a significant role in her success as a interior designer. Learned traits like an awareness to your surroundings and the ability to listen, not only help in meeting her client's expectations, but clearly Sara commands a strong visual sensibility as well. She takes inspiration from color & texture and is adept at selecting & pairing wordly antiques with current accessories and furnishings -- creating rooms with overall interest & refinement.

The interiors of Sara's Gramercy Park townhouse are featured on today's New York Social Diary. Additionally, Sara has been leaving in her mark in recent shelter magazines....  I just put down the September issue of Country Living, where she helps her sister Lisa re-work her dated Connecticut home, and the June issue of Elle Decor tapped Sara as 1 of their "5 Designers to Watch".
