This is my kind of music festival.... Escape2NY is an event created with a focus on interesting music, artisans, and cuisine, with "Glamping" -- (possibly my new favorite word) glamorous + camping accommodations available. The 3 day festival is being held on the Shinnecock Indian Reservation in Southampton, opening tomorrow, Friday August 5 at 11am - Sunday August 7.
Glamping -- 2 types of accommodations are offered... The Tepee (above) comes with waterproof flooring, rugs, pillows -- for 4-6 people. The Safari Style Tent (below) includes double beds with linens, table & chairs, and fresh flowers at your bedside. If you prefer a little less posh surroundings, outdoor camping is available.
