My dear college friend Eleanor Dickinson, along with her sister-in-law, Anna Dickinson, are opening the loveliest of home furnishings stores in Little Rock, AR -- White Goat Chateau and Farm. If I wasn't 3 states away, I'd be attending their opening party, which is happening tonight, from 5-9pm. Eleanor tells me that the idea of opening a store grew from a desire to highlight a design style that she wasn't seeing in the shops of her hometown. So, she and Anna have taken to selecting furnishings & accessories -- period antiques and unique pieces, layered with European influences -- that fill their storefront with a fresh appeal to interior spaces.
