The Pre-fab Home of Robert Bristow and Pilar Proffitt -- Sits to the Right of the Orignal Dairy Barn

The Lakeville, CT pre-fab home of husband & wife designers Robert Bristow and Pilar Proffitt is featured in the Home Section of today's NY Times. The couple purchased the original dairy barn property in 2005 and set out to design the modular structure to blend seamlessly into the natural landscape (click here to see more of their building process). Bristow and Proffitt are partners in their design firm Poesis. In addition to residential design projects, the couple also turns to designing & making custom furniture, art, and objects.
