The husband of an old elementary school friend (we attended Hong Kong International School together in the early 80s), has started a design business, PANYL, that offers a self-adhesive vinyl application to customize otherwise basic "flat-pack" furniture forms. PANYL comes in a variety of color & wood grain finishes (34 total) and currently, you can order cut to fit pieces for IKEA designs EXPEDIT, BESTA, FRAMSTA, EKBY, and kitchen cabinetry -- check out the "before & after" photos below of bright yellow PANYL applied to the upper kitchen cabinet doors.
