In the late 90s, Phoebe and her husband Jim Howard opened Mrs. Howard, a Jacksonville, FL based store offering fresh & unique home furnishings and design services. The success of that shop led them to open Max & Company, and expand locations to Atlanta, GA and Charlotte, NC. The interior design work of Phoebe and Jim Howard has been featured in numerous shelter magazines.
