The MAR/APR 2012 issue of Lonny Magazine features the 2 bedroom apartment that interior designer Anna Burke shares with her sister in NYC's West Village. Burke layers a style of high & low furnishings, pattern, and interesting accessories set against a clean white backdrop. Taking inspiration from her design, I have pulled together some pieces currently available on Atlanta's Craigslist that translate a similar look -- click on the links found below for details.....
Starting at the top left corner.... In the living space, Anna Burke sits alongside a vintage gold finish bar cart. Her dining room table is a glass top with simple metal frame chairs (CL posting needs reupholstery). A sphere chandelier hangs from the ceiling. A decorative lamp sits on top of a nail trimmed end table. She has selected a vintage rattan sofa & chair set (CL posting needs reupholstery). Interesting wall items include a feather headdress, original artwork & photography, and a starburst style mirror. A tiered & floating coffee table and vintage trunk are placed alongside a graphic print rug. And in the bedroom, Anna has chosen to upholster the headboard in an ikat fabric.
