Jim is participating in Chairish The Future, an event happening on Saturday that benefits The Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta. Local and regional artists are asked to submit a Chair design crafted from reclaimed furniture parts and pieces. Each Chair, among other submitted items, are part of the night's auction. Check out photos of Jim's Primal Chair below.... the base is a found chunk of wood, sanded down to expose the natural grain, the frame is constructed from repurposed metal parts, the "upholstery" is a piece of organic shaped cow hide (a tag sale find), topped with a IKEA Sheepskin.
