Textile designer Madeline Weinrib's Sample Sale ad in today's NY Times mentions that they are extending the sale, to be held Friday 11/9 through Sunday 11/11. This announcement is in part to accommodate interested shoppers in the Tri-State area who were unable to attend the previous scheduled dates due to Hurricane Sandy. Pillows, Carpets, Furniture, and Fabric by the Yard will be offered at up to 70% off retail prices. Weinrib, a native New Yorker, will be donating 10% of the sale's proceeds to the Red Cross to benefit those affected by the storm.
