Charleston, SC based architect Heather Wilson's Mount Pleasant home she shares with her husband and 3 children is featured in the August 2013 issue of Real Simple magazine....  (I picked up a copy while waiting for my flight home from White Plains to Atlanta last week). Heather took to reworking an existing 450 square foot historic farmhouse, plus adding a custom design/build vaulted kitchen and living/sleeping quarters beyond, and her completed project is awe-inspiring.

I checked out Heather's website online when I got back home and discovered some lovely examples of her current work in and around the Charleston area. I've included below images of a home she designed on her client's existing lot that sets a style tone for peaceful indoor/outdoor living.
