Hey Y'all....   Get your hands on a copy of Susan Hable's A Colorful Home: Create Lively Palettes for Every Room....  Available TODAY!

Susan, co-founder of the custom textile & accessories company Hable Construction, presents a collection of interiors influenced by a distinct color palette -- Rose, Treetops, Arrowhead, Citrus, Thorn, Pool, and Salt. Her goal in writing this premiere work is that she hopes "to give you a foundation in the basics of color, help you discover the hues you are attracted to, and offer ideas for how to utilize them in your home."

She is matched in fine creative skill by the book's photographer Rinne Allen. Together, Susan & Rinne move you beyond the face value of each page, offering a guide to looking deeper into the image and paying particular attention to how the color portrayed translates from corresponding furnishings & architectural finishes to the smallest of accessory details. Susan connects the important relationship of inspiring color schemes to tones lifted from the surrounding landscape, by pairing her featured spaces with gatherings of nature's bounty - leaves, blooms, stones, shells....   She suggests: "To get comfortable with color, spend time outdoors and log what you see. Think about the combinations that organically occur and how you might bring them into other areas of your life."
