My most recent published work has provided me with the opportunity to write about some truly great homes..... American Farmhouse Style (above) highlights the re-design of a Mill Valley, CA home. The homeowners turned to Heidi Richardson of Richardson Architects to completely rework their existing footprint to incorporate a design style inspired by architectural elements found throughout the Sonoma, CA wine country.
Included in Cottage Country (below), is the home of interior designer Alison Kandler. This very vintage style home was actually built new, but reflects period charm through Kandler's handselected decor -- a whimsical mix of flea market finds and treasured antique pieces.
