The property was purchased by former Washington Post editor Ben Bradlee and his wife Sally Quinn in 1979 from original owner Edith Bouvier Beale, known as "Little Edie", first cousin to Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. Bradlee and Quinn immediately embarked on a complete overhaul of the property -- returning both the structure & grounds to their original grandeur....
