The Sausalito, CA based tabletop & home-ware company, Heath Ceramics, announces their newly opened 500 square foot retail shop in San Francisco's Ferry Building Marketplace.  Created in the 1950's, Heath Ceramics has built a reputation known for simplistic earth tone colors and hand crafted artisan shapes, while also being mindful to form and function.  For more info check out the following article from The NY Times.

A while back, I came across the loveliest little teapot by Heath Ceramics at one of the thrift shops I frequent.  Among the shelf of tabletop ware, I was struck by the soft tones and shape of the body and the fun cork stopper at the top.  Loved flipping over and seeing the Heath Ceramics stamp on the bottom!
