Noteworthy: Atlanta's Dogwood Festival {This Week-end - 4/16 - 4/18}

Thursday, April 15, 2010

The Dogwood Festival is happening this week-end...  opening at noon on Friday, April 16.  One of the city's best loved springtime events, taking place among the blooming trees and flowers of Midtown's Piedmont Park.  Dogwood plays host to entertainment, food, and an artists market.  Check out the Atlanta Dogwood Festival's website for more info.

Jim and I will be supporting our dear friend and art exhibitor, Chris Beck.  We are continually blown away by Chris' ability to mold raw scrap metal and found parts into delicate and intricate sculptural details and life-size forms.  Chris' booth is #124 - located up by the Piedmont Driving Club.  The images found below are some examples of Chris' work.
